Mimi’s Dream Come True
Can it be that a little girl memorizing the song "A Dream is a Wish" from Disney's Cinderella would really see her dream come true. Yes indeed, for I am that girl, and many years later I have my dream.
I was raised in a family of all boys and dreamed of Tea Parties and Pretty Things.
In my shoppe you will find many pretty things for counted thread stitching; charts, kits, beads, cotton floss, silks, variety fibers, linen from 10 ct to 40 ct in a beautiful array of colors, and many stitching tools, all to help you create your pretty things. If you do not have a LNS I have a mail order service.
I offer children's classes with a special tea party, usually in April for Mother’s Day present making and November, for a Christmas ornament. Adult classes include many stitching techniques, and several times each year we have well known designers in to teach their exquisite works of art.
For everyone who needs a time with friends to stitch and visit we have sit 'n stitch times in the Parlor. Come by for a cup of tea and a look-see.

Where did the name “Mimi’s Attic” come from?
When I was trying to decide on a name for the shoppe my grandson’s Forrest and Brady were staying with us. The boys were three years old and 15 month’s old at the time. Brady was an explorer and loved getting into places and looking through new and different things. They were taking their nap and Brady woke up and got out of his crib to do exploring, he went into my “stash” room upstairs. The next thing I know, Forrest is at the top of the stairs saying, “Oh Mimi, Brady is in your “Attic” and is making a big mess. Thus we have Mimi’s Attic where all the stitching things I love can be found.
