"What's better than art you can wear? This beautiful chatelaine has a
pocket for a petite pair of embroidery scissors and a pocket for a needle
threader (both included). Worked in a Victorian style, it includes
hardanger, pulled work and numerous sampler stitches. It is stitched on 32
count antique ivory Belfast linen using Caron Waterlilies and Anchor pearl cotton.
The finished piece measures approximately 3 1/2" wide by 42" long. A
treasure to enjoy and to hand down as an heirloom." Stitches and techniques include: Hardanger, woven bars, Rhodes, triple rice stitch, queen stitch, Foliage stitch, long arm cross stitch, Jack-in-the-Pulpit stitch, spider web, and Four-sided stitch.
Stitches/techniques include: Rhodes, Spider Web, Fly, Triple Rice, Eyelets, Foliage, Palestrina knots, Plaited Stitch, Jack-in-the Pulpit stitch, Double Herringbone, Smyrna Cross, pulled work, and a little hardanger.
